The Song I Came to Sing
The art shown is "The Song I Came to Sing, Don't Spend Your Days Stringing and Unstringing Your Instrument. Remember to Sing the Song In Your Heart, [Farmer's Daughters]" This painting is inspired by Rabindranath Tagore's poem. It's approximately 4x6.'
As I installed my giant mural, I spent hours in Dixon’s almond orchards and alfalfa fields. My inspiration came from a life of gratitude, grounded in agriculture. The experience seeped into my soul, and brought back fond memories of growing up as a farmer’s daughter. I can’t wait to see where this painting will take me next as I “sing the Song in My Own Heart.”
