Avila Lifeguard Panel Restored

In 2017 I painted 26 panels on 2 Avila Beach, CA Lifeguard towers that reflected historical and future images of this special area. Sadly, you may remember that someone stole a mural panel in late 2019, and it was never recovered.
Thanks to the diligence of ARTS Obispo/San Luis Obispo County Arts Council and the Avila Beach Community Foundation, they were able to fund the renovation so I could repaint the missing panel. Now, the Avila Lifeguard murals are complete again!

I added a couple of new characters. See if you can guess who they are? Installation artists Che Miller & Bill Hudson were instrumental in completing this landmark renovation.
