It was a honor to be commissioned by the new owners of Halcyon Farms to create a mural to hang above the produce stand. I enjoyed capturing the men who work the fields, their 3 daughters, some of their favorite veggies, flowers and fruit to grow and resident animals and insects. See if you can find them all!

A little bit about the farm: Formerly Rutiz Farms, Jerry retired and lifelong farmer Ariela and Jeff "bought the farm." Halcyon Farms is family owned and produces highest quality produce using organic fertilizers and no pesticides. On 28 acres, they cultivate over 50 varieties of vegetables along with a full range of culinary herbs, strawberries developed for coastal California, asparagus, artichokes, hearty potatoes, carrots, blackberries, rapsberries, vine-ripe tomatoes and fresh cut flowers.
