Dream clients, Bill and Allison Lockwood commissioned me to create a work of public art that captures the underwater ecosystem in Pismo Beach, near a well- know surf spot. Bill is an avid waterman and Allison is fabulous artist. Both wanted to give people a glimpse of “What Lies Beneath” our beautiful cliffs and waves. Each sea creature is given its own unique personality and is aware of the viewer. If you have ever spent any time diving, you know that this is true.
