Uphill Battle

It's been a challenging year for me, as I was diagnosed with cancer in my left femur in February. I've completed 6 cycles of chemotherapy and will move on to radiation at the end of July. I've had short visits to the studio, which have brought me much joy through these dark days of treatment. I will begin to work my way off of crutches (which I have been on for 5 months now to keep my femur from breaking all the way) and will be able to enter the ocean in just a few days once my Picc line wound heals. I have a few projects that I look forward to sharing with you this October at my Open Studio shows.
